I SAW A COUGAR

#viunpuma

The puma is found in all biomes of America, from the Yukon, in Canada, to the south of the Andes Mountains and Patagonia, Argentina and Chile. This cougar is black because it is burned. Burning in the culture that challenges him. Each one travels their own territory, recolonizes, resists and adapts to this world of survival. Different representative places of the city of Río Gallegos (Santa Cruz), Río Grande (Tierra del Fuego), Punta Arenas (Chile) and in the City of Buenos Aire were intervened.

Puma concolor / Becoming animal

#viunpuma

The puma, mountain lion, panther (Puma concolor), is a carnivorous mammal native to America. This big cat lives in more places than any other wild terrestrial mammal on the continent, since it extends from the Yukon, in Canada, to the south of the Andes Mountains and Patagonia, Argentina and Chile in South America. The puma is adaptable and generalist, which is why it is found in all biomes of America. I took it as a reference axis building it in units from thousands of fragments generating a textured and moving image; Some spoke from different representative places in the city of Río Gallegos (Santa Cruz), Río Grande (Tierra del Fuego), Punta Arenas (Chile) and in the City of Buenos Aires. Each chosen place preserves its own history: fire, collapse, abandonment, past / present, the natural in contrast to the urban. This cougar is black because it is burned. Burning in the culture that challenges him. Each of these pumas travel their own territory, recolonize, resist and adapt to this world of survival.
